Westchester County’s first ever outdoor pop-up roller skating rink opens at Cross County Shopping Center this summer! Bring the entire family for some old school fun, and let’s roll through summer in style!
The new pop-up roller rink will be located at Center Court, between The Gap and Bath & Body Works, from August 17th through September 2nd. The rink will be open daily. Hours vary each day and are listed HERE. Admission is $10 per person, which includes skate rental and a one hour session (you may bring your own skates, however, the admission rate stays the same).
Each week there will be a DJ spinning live music, theme nights, and different food trucks at the rink. The roller rink is large enough to accommodate approximately 50 skaters at once, so grab your friends and family for a skate date!
It’s not just for kids! Parents, teens, and kids of all ages (over 5) can lace up! Only Credit and Debit cards will be accepted for admission, no cash. The rink may close due to inclement weather, so please check our website for updated skating times.
We’ll help you keep the kids entertained all summer with another free event – join us on The Green, near Hollister, for an interactive musical theatre event with Bash the Trash on August 20th! Bash the Trash is a group that turns recycled materials into musical instruments that kids will play and parade around the mall with.
Whether you’re planning a family outing, date night or girl’s night out, our FREE outdoor concerts are a wonderful way to enjoy the season and take place on The Green, in the center of the mall through August 15th. Enjoy bands like FDR Drive, The NY Bee Gees and The Bailsmen. And, before each concert stop by one of the regional food trucks parked right in the center of the mall for tasty treats that range from pizza to crepes to sausage and peppers. Want even more to eat? The Westchester-famous Walter’s Hot Dog Food Truck will also be parked at the mall weekly, throughout July and August. Look for the blue truck near Footaction and Express.
