Willson’s Waves at Willson’s Woods Park

East Lincoln Avenue, Mount Vernon

This is one of Westchester’s hidden gems. There will be lots of splashing, smiles, and fun for all ages, with four exciting water recreation areas. In addition to the expansive Wave Pool, there is a great sprinkler park where kids can splash through a water playground, and don’t miss the 18ft water slide!

Tibbets Brook Pool

355 Midland Avenue, Yonkers

As one of the first parks in Westchester County, Tibbets Brook Park has something to appeal to everyone! Complete with a spray playground for kids, two water slides, in-pool basketball and volleyball, lap lanes for a daily swim workout, and their signature “lazy river,” which carries you in a tube around the pool. It also inspired the renaming of this fun destination to “The Brook.” Recently added for 2021 are the new pickleball courts, right next to the tennis courts.

Saxon Woods Park

1800 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains

The county’s largest pool has so much to offer for a full day of family fun. There is an aquatic play area for younger non-swimmers, complete with a water playground and slides! A food and snack bar are available for a quick bite to eat. Plenty of picnic areas and space to set up chairs to relax, and a large shower/dressing area are just a few perks of this venue. When the kiddos need a break from the water, Saxon Woods’ newly rebuilt playground and mini-golf are located outside the pool area.

Sprain Ridge Pool

149 Jackson Avenue, Hastings-on-Hudson

The Sprain Ridge Pool is Westchester County’s newest pool and has lots to offer, with the main lap pool, activity pool, and aquatic spray deck for kids. With a newly renovated boathouse, restrooms, showers, locker rooms, and concession stand to complete the experience.
