Easter egg hunts Westchester April 8The weather looks gorgeous this weekend, and there are tons of opportunities to get outside and enjoy some spring family fun. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, April 8, 9am-11am, Club Fit Jefferson Valley, 600 Bank Road, Jefferson Valley, NY

What to Expect: Event includes breakfast and a photo with the Easter Bunny. Be sure to register at the front desk.

 

Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard 2017 Easter Egg Hunt, April 8 and 9, several times available, 130 North Scrabble Road, North Salem, NY

What to Expect: Tickets ($14) per child are required, and include an egg hunt (15-17 eggs per child), basket for egg hunt, visit with the Easter Bunny, and a souvenir. For an additional charge, you can also enjoy a hayride, bouncy house, pony ride, and food from the grill. Book tickets in advance here.

Briarcliff Egg Hunt, April 8, 10am, Chilmark Park, Macy Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY

What to Expect: Enjoy a show from Candy Twister, an engaging balloon twister, and then  hunt for eggs with candy and prizes inside.

 

Scarsdale Spring Extravaganza and Easter Egg Hunt, April 8, 10am-11:30am, Scarsdale Middle School Auditorium, 134 Mamaroneck Road, Scarsdale, NY

What to Expect: This event is open to and free for Scarsdale residents, and features a magic show, giveaways, and, of course, the egg hunt.

 

Village of Dobbs Ferry Spring Egg Hunt, April 8, 10am, Gould Park, 91 Ashford Avenue, Dobbs Ferry, NY

What to Expect: This is a free event for Dobbs Ferry kids, pre-K- grade 3, to hunt for eggs, special prizes, and visit with the Easter Bunny.

 

Easter Egg Hunt, April 8, 10:30am, Patriot’s Park, 121 N Broadway, Tarrytown, NY

What to Expect: Children ages 1-8 can participate in an egg hunt and meet the Easter Bunny!

 

Parks and Rec Easter Egg Hunt, April 8, 10:30am, Downing Park, 2881 Crompond Road, Yorktown Heights, NY

What to Expect: Children 12 years old and under will participate in Jelly Bean guess, have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny and other characters, and enjoy hunting for colored eggs. Prizes will be provided to all participants, with special prizes for the finders of the special eggs. No Fee.

 

Rye Recreation Easter Egg Hunt, April 8, 10:30am, Rye Recreation Field, 281 Midland Road, Rye, NY

What to Expect: This year’s hunt is geared towards kids, aged 2-grade 5, and meets by the tennis courts.

 

Easter Egg Scramble, April 8, 11am, Village Hall Lawn, 236 Tate Avenue, Buchanan, NY

What to Expect: Enjoy watching your child scramble throughout the lawn trying to gather as many eggs as possible! All children receive a ticket for a chance to win a beautiful Easter prize. Bring a camera and take pictures with the Easter Bunny!

 

5th Annual Egg Hunt, April 8, 1pm, Youth & Recreation Center, 3 Memorial Drive, Croton, NY

What to Expect: Join this year’s egg hunt with two different age groups, 2-5 and 6 & up. Bring your camera for Bunny pictures!

 

Bunny Hop, April 8, 1pm-4pm, Ridge Hill, 1 Ridge Hill Boulevard, Yonkers, NY

What to Expect: Meet the Easter Bunny, participate in a virtual egg hunt, and enjoy the activities, prizes, and giveaways!

 

Eastchester EggstravaganzaApril 8, 2pm, Town Hall, 40 Mill Road, Eastchester, NY

What to Expect: Join in the fun as you hunt for eggs on the Town Hall lawn.

 

Great Green Egg-travaganza, April 9, 11am-3pm, Greenburgh Nature Center, 99 Dromore Road, Scarsdale

What to Expect: Join us for a day of egg-themed games and activities, including our environmentally-friendly, nature-inspired egg hunt. Toddler egg hunt (suggested for ages 2 and under) will be held on the great lawn. Egg hunts for older children (suggested for ages 3 and up) will take place on our trails. Egg hunts schedule will be at 11:00AM-12:00PM, 12:00PM-1:00PM, 1:00PM-2:00PM, & 2:00PM-3:00PM. Turn in your found eggs for treats! Also enjoy seasonal crafts, animal presentations, guided nature walks through our Native Plant Meadow, and an eggs-hibit of eggs from all kinds of animals. Early registration, before April 9: $5 members, $10 non-members. Day of event: $8 members, $15 non-members. Event held rain or shine.
