Guide to Pregnancy, Postpartum, and Infant Services in Westchester County

The journey through pregnancy, the postpartum period, and the infant stage is full of exciting, joyful, nerve wracking, tired, and unique moments. From the moment you see those two pink lines, you work hard to be a wonderful mom, by getting prenatal care, researching car seats and strollers, finding new mom friends, and making sure your infant gets everything he or she needs to grow into a happy, healthy kid. Sometimes, though, the choices are overwhelming and you don’t know where to start. We’re here to help you find all of the best services in and around Westchester to help you through your pregnancy, postpartum period, and the infant stage.

Full Circle is a nurturing, healing environment where practitioners from both conventional and alternative medicines are dedicated to serving the whole person – body, mind and spirit.Integrative medicine incorporates elements of complementary and alternative medicine alongside conventional, mainstream methods of diagnosis and treatment. It couples the latest scientific advances with the most profound insights of ancient healing systems, offering you and your family the best ways to preserve health, increase longevity and speed recovery from illness. At its heart, however, it aims to do more than just add new tools to the medicine bag. Integrative medicine aims to enhance current medical practice and, although perceived as a new movement, it in fact re-focuses medicine on its ancient roots and values.

Nancy Millian, Psy.D.

Feeling overwhelmed, depressed, anxious, guilty, irritable or even numb at a time that is supposed to be “wonderful”? I specialize in working with postpartum anxiety, depression, infertility, pregnancy loss and work/family balance. With over 33 years as a seasoned psychologist, I offer a relaxed, laid-back style that produces real results using a nonjudgmental and caring atmosphere. Clients often comment to me that they are eager to come to therapy and see it as uplifting and healing. Therapy can be a process that is positive, sometimes humorous, and one that frees us to be better and happier people.

Baby+Mom Fit

Baby+Mom Fit was created by local mom and trainer who saw a need for a class that accommodates mom and baby! Classes focus on training while wearing baby (so the baby acts as a weighted vest), which enables moms to get in shape, bond with their babies, feel great, and make some new friends. In class there is no jumping or floor work. If you need to stop to change a diaper or feed your little …no problem.

Mima Photography

I am a New York-based family and children photographer with a flare for fun. I love to photograph families and kids through play. My goal is to capture a child’s true essence. When you photograph a child through play they forget that someone is taking their picture … they are just in the moment. This also works when photographing families and executives, although it is less “play” and more about helping them let their guard down.
