Just around the corner we can expect re-openings of seasonal venues, blooming gardens and bustling Spring festivals. Check out some of our favorite family friendly things to do around Westchester this month!

Saturday, March 3, Pound Ridge: My kids want “screen time” all the time. Put that curiosity to work and take your little one to learn how to code at Pound Ridge Library. This hour long program is specifically designed for 3 to 5 year olds!

Saturday, March 3, Pound Ridge: Learn Native American maple sugaring technique at the Trailside Nature Museum! A wonderful reason to spend the day at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation.

Sunday, March 4, Greenburgh: Greenburgh Nature Center is hosting its annual Maple Sugaring Party! Learn more about sap collection, and how Native Americans used sap. Also, lots of excuses to sample sweets!

Sunday, March 4, Katonah: If Greenburgh Nature Center is a little too far south for you, Muscoot Farms is also having a Maple Sugaring Festival! Or you can go to both, and start a sugar detox on Monday!

Saturday, March 10, Port Chester: The Capitol Theatre is a venue we are all very lucky to have. It pulls some great talent to our area. There are some great shows coming up this season, from Elvis Costello to Hannibal Burress. But there are great shows for kiddos, too! Take your kids to a family friendly performance of Rollling Stones hits!
