We feel pretty lucky to live in Westchester County, where there are tons of options for awesome date nights. But honestly, sometimes the sheer number of places to go and things to do can be overwhelming. Often, we end up sticking to the same old places. South Salem Winery (South Salem)
Closed for the winter, South Salem Winery is Westchester County’s first micro-winery. They truly are a micro-winery, producing small batches of hand-crafted wine with grapes from Orient Point and the Finger Lakes.
Wine Geeks Armonk (Armonk)
Wine Geeks Armonk is a hip artisanal wine shop with an emphasis on organic and bio-dynamic vineyards. Situated in a re-purposed vintage gas station in Armonk that has been re-designed in a rustic-industrial style, the shop features a $15 and Under Table offering strong value on a wide variety of fine wines.
The Winery at St. George (Mohegan Lake)
Sample four specially selected wines at their Thursday Wine Classes. Learn about regions, grape varieties, and food pairings. Tastings start at 7:00 p.m. Space is limited, so you need to call ahead for reservations.
